Understanding the Promise Scholarship
New to the Georgia Promise Scholarship? Here's what you need to know.

Georgia's Promise Scholarship Act provides eligible students with state-funded education accounts that families can direct toward qualifying educational services — giving parents more control over how their child learns.

01
Who Is Eligible
Georgia students who are enrolled in or eligible to enroll in a public school may qualify. Families apply directly through the Georgia Department of Education's Promise Scholarship program.
02
What the Funds Cover
Promise Scholarship funds can be applied toward qualifying educational services — including academic instruction, learning programs, and enrichment — from approved providers.

How It Works for Promise Families
Using your Promise Scholarship at Live2Create — step by step.
1
Confirm Your Promise Scholarship Eligibility
Apply through the Georgia Department of Education's Promise Scholarship program before your student begins services. Families are responsible for confirming their eligibility and scholarship award amount directly with the GaDOE.
2
Attend an Info Session
Join one of our upcoming Information Sessions to learn about the program, meet Coach Amy, ask questions about service offerings, and understand how Promise funds can be applied. This is the right first step for every family.
3
Complete a Service Intake
After your info session, you'll complete a brief intake process to select the services that fit your student's goals and your scholarship allocation. We'll help you build the right service plan.
4
Sign a Service Agreement
Promise families sign a Service Agreement — not a traditional enrollment contract. This document lists the specific services selected, delivery schedule, and per-service pricing. It is the document used to support Promise Scholarship reimbursement requests.
5
Receive Monthly Itemized Invoices
Each month, you'll receive a clear, itemized invoice reflecting services delivered — designed to support your Promise Scholarship reimbursement documentation requirements.
